This is not a story of Dr Montessori, but it follows her idea that it is important to teach through stories at the Elementary level. So Kay Baker and Greg McDonald decided that there should be a Story for Music as there is no story for Music and Art.

Method:
The story gives keys to the History of Music and the development of written music. It is possible to add to thins or take parts from it. It follows the development of oral and written music through history, making sure to locate this in the child’s culture. The story can be adapted so that it is relevant in any classroom.
